1973 the Gotham Book Mart & Gallery published the third book of poems by Patti Smith "Witt" and celebrated this occasion with an exhibition of her drawings.
In the years that followed one could always find Patti Smith related items exhibited in a special room.
Recently the Gotham Book Mart has reopened at a new adress.
