Austrian film team Rossacher / Dolezal, who directed the documentarie 20 hours with Patti Smith in 1978 produced this six part series about the story of pop and politics. The first part which is an introductory overview of the story features various short interview-clips with Patti Smith probably recorded 2002/2003.
The series won the prize for "Best Direction in Documentary" at the 48th New York Festival 2005.
